Join us for a dynamic exploration of the Native
American Indian wisdom in the medicine wheel.
Through the free expression of ecstatic dance,
we will play with the different energies of the
Four Directions.We will dance a different direction
each week. It is all-comprehensive: the different seasons,
stages of life, the elements. Integrating all four
energies, we become more whole.
EAST:Physical, fire, birth, spring, warrior
SOUTH: Summer, youth, spiritual, water,
WEST: Fall, adult, earth, emotional
NORTH: Winter, elder, air, mental, death
*** These meanings can change depending
on which tribe's wisdom is shared. The
above info is the most consistent.
DANCE EXPERIENCE IS NOT NEEDED. Just the joy
to move, an open mind and heart. Great music from
around the world takes you on a deep, inner journey.
